Motivational Interviewing Certificate

Program Description

Master the transformative power of motivational interviewing, an evidence-based approach to patient-centered care that fosters meaningful dialogue and promotes positive change. Open the door to more effective ways to negotiate change, increasing positive outcomes and reducing frustration for both you and your patients or clients. This course provides practical tools to improve communication, build trust, and engage patients effectively. Led by experts, the curriculum includes interactive exercises, case studies, and live demonstrations, ensuring hands-on experience and actionable insights.

Learn how to “unstick” patients by building lasting motivation for self-improvement and empowering them to accomplish their goals, no matter how challenging they may seem. Apply these techniques to reduce resistance and build motivation effectively—not just with clients but also with colleagues, family, and yourself. Through case-based scenarios rooted in clinical practice, you’ll master the skills needed to support positive behavioral changes and confidently guide patients on their health journey.
