Nursing Week | Canadian Healthcare Education Network (CHEN)
This Nursing Week 2025, we’re taking a moment to recognize the incredible nurses across Canada—from downtown ER's in Toronto to northern nursing stations and everywhere in between.

Realities of the nursing workplace
No matter where you’re working, we know the realities you face:
🔹 Long, exhausting shifts
🔹 Ongoing staff shortages
🔹 The emotional weight that never quite leaves
🔹 The constant juggling act between care and capacity

And yet, through it all, there’s something that keeps you going: a deep sense of purpose, pride, and heart.
Nurses are more than a clinical role
What makes nursing in Canada so special isn’t just the clinical skill—it’s the way nurses show up for the people and communities they serve. Whether it’s supporting Indigenous health in remote regions or caring for newcomers in urban neighbourhoods, you’re working where culture, care, and complexity meet.

You’re more than caregivers. You’re educators, advocates, guides, and leaders. And no matter the setting or the struggle, you continue to deliver care with humanity and respect.

Serving Nurses
At CHEN, we’re proud to walk alongside you—offering connection and support as your role continues to evolve.

To every nurse reading this:
💙 We see you.
💙 We appreciate you.
💙 And we’re celebrating everything you bring—to your patients, your teams, and the future of healthcare.
